Thread: Amd fx-6100

Hello all. Ive been searching for about 3 days or so, and have downloaded 5 different mac os x lion/snow leopard discs and tried to install them. My system specs are below:

CPU: AMD FX-6100 (Overclocked to 3.9GHz)
MB: ASUS M5A97
RAM: 16 gig 1333MHz
HDD 1: Seagate 1TB Barracuda SATA III w/ 64MB Cache
HDD 2: Seagate 1TB Barracuda SATA III w/ 64MB Cache
GPU: EVGA GTX 560 Ti SC

I have created a 100 gig partition on my second hdd for the mac os x.

The furthest ive gotten was with "Niresh12495-Lion-10.7.3-V2", with the ' "Kernel Cache"=\amd arch=i386 -v ' command.
The following is 5 pictures taken by my cell, at were the load stops. Dosnt install, and dosnt finish loading all the files:

Basically what im looking for is help with an mac os x lion/snow leopard(lion prefered), that i can use(either dmg or iso, i know how to convert). Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Try searching with.... hackintosh ASUS M5A97.. looks like others have had success!

Pour Niresh , laisses tomber , passes par Modcd + retail 10.6 (modbin_kernel) et fais ta MAJ avec iakos L2 .

I was having the same issue and after much searching came across this post by "SoCalRu". It is installing now and I hope it will help you as well...

THE ONLY WAY TO GET MAC OS X TO BOOT IS BY PUTTING THE SATA DRIVES ON THE LEGACY ATA PORTS. THIS BOARD AND OTHER AMD AM3+/FX PROCESSOR CHIPSETS USE THE NEW AMD 9XX SERIES CHIPSET WHICH THERE CURRENTLY IS NO ACHI/RAID KEXT. PUT ONE SATA HARDDRIVE ON SATA PORT 4, AND THE DVD/BDROM DRIVE ON SATA PORT 5; SET BIOS TO ACHI WITH SATA 4/5 IN NATIVE IDE MODE. YOU WILL ALSO HAVE TO USE A 32-BIT APPLEGENERICATA.KEXT TO GET IT TO BOOT.

After I did the above I booted from the DVD using :

"Kernel Cache"=amd arch=i386 -v
