    Default Replacing Hard Drive

I would like to replace the hard drive in my Snow Leopard install with a solid state drive. Is there a way to copy the Snow Leopard install to the new drive so that it will boot. I am going to make the existing hard drive a data drive once I get the SSD to operate correctly. I could just re-install from DVD but am looking for a way to duplicate my existing drive and settings instead of starting with a fresh install.

    Thanks,

    Cort
