    Hi everyone
    I'm new around and also in os x , I install the snow leopard 10.6.8 in my hakintosh
    when the os start for the first time it make some check on the system , look like between hardware and software the compatibility it's ok , the only message that keep repeating is
    Still waiting for root device
    Still waiting for root device
    Still waiting for root device

    and so on, any suggestion any one of what is going on !??
    my cpu AMD Athlon 64 x2 3.21Ghz
    Ram 4 Gb
    Ati radeon HD 3870
    HD Seagate 80 Gb

    Mac OS X Snow Leopard - 10.6.8

    is the page from where I got the os x and how to install it

    and by the way installing was ok but I couldn't type any so I'm stuck on inserting user name etc... so the cause of is because my keyboard is ps2 !??

    Use ModCD to boot your already installed system and use Kext Wizard to install this kexts > updated Trackpad+Keyboard PS2 32/64 - Downloads - Kexts.com

    Reboot and boot again from HDD using this flag`s > -f -v

    ok , so I resolve my little keyboard thing , put a usb one ...lol ), I started it all over also installed the GraphicsEnabler (is the only choice to support ATI as it says) I have a Gigabyte ATI Radeon HD 3870 vga.
    So installation sucesfull
    also download and install the bootloader
    restart it
    and here I'm does not boot at it own
    now what

    by the way , the HDD where I install the osx it load and I can open SL, but only by booting my hackintosh with Nawcom's ModCD

    Boot in verbose mode, take a picture of the Panic/Freeze and place here...

    [OFF]

    You remember to install FakeSMC.kext and NullCPUPowerManagement.kext before try to boot from HDD right????

    We need the pictures from when you`re booting from HDD not from ModCD...

    If the second picture is from HDD boot, probably you have a video issue, in this case, you need to remove the video kext that you install...
