Thread: Help Asus K53SD

Hi guys, I was trying to find the DSDT for my Asus K53SD since in my hackintosh it won't identify my processor and I can't get to work most of my components, i.e: sound, graphics, wi-fi, etc.

These are my Tech specs:
Processor : Intel Core i7 2670QM 2.2ghz
Primary OS : Windows 7 Home Premium x64
Chipset : Intel HM65 Express Chipset
Memory : 4GB DDR3 1333 MHz SDRAM
Graphics : NVIDIA GeForce 610M with 2GB DDR3 VRAM (also has onboard Intel HD 3000)
HDD: 750GB 5400rpm
(I believe it has Sandy Bridge)

I've just freshly installed Snow Leopard 10.6.6

I used the patch of an Asus K53E, but it didn't work, nothing really changed (it didn't gave me a kernel panic or something like it, it just didn't change a thing)
What should I do to make things work?

Hi i' ve Asus K53SD and after one week of hard work i' ve make it up it's fully workly W/O : sleep and nvidia card

Hi bberts. i would like to know what you did. i am unable to find audio and nvidia kexts... I successfully installed atheros wifi without problems. Did you edited your own DSDT? I have an k53sd asus too

Hi I have not loaded any kext for the nvidia card, I have indeed caused by deleting all but the 'sound after several tests I found one that does vodoohda whistle the mic and feels good. I wish know how to create a dsdt but unfortunately I can not. The worst thing that works well is the sleep and off (turning off the monitor but the motherboard stays on and I off with the button)

Hi.. I also have Asus K53SD. could you please help me how to install hackintosh?..what installer and instructions?..
I successfully installed Niresh12495-Lion-10.7.3-V2 but after installation it hangs with the apple logo.
Please help.

We have same model of laptop,

Ive stuck in installing the wireless adapter... ive found some kext, it work but no internet connection... can you give me a link pls.. of the proper kext for wireless adapter.. thx..

FIVE STEP TUTORIAL


Hello I 's so I installed it:
1- I created 2 partitions with iAtkosL2 from a 20gb x win7 and' other from 230 x Lion
2- Installed win7 with MacDrive on first.
3- Installed with iAtkosL2 Lion (this takes a long time to boot time only to start an hour but then the 'installation is fine).
4- After installing Lion boot win7 and S / L /E delete all the nvidia and ati kext and is also necessary set GraphicsEnabler = No, AND SET SMBIOS AS MACBOOKPRO8,1 and perhaps put immediately all appropriate kext x HD3000 and alc269 osx86 download helps u
5- Restart and personalize our macbookbro!!!
