Thread: osx problems on acer aspire 5735z

recently installed osx on my acer aspire 5735z, and its working fine, except the only things i dont have working are my touchpad and my audio.

In the mouse options in system preferences there is no settings, it just says connect a usb mouse.

In the sound options there is no device listed for me to select.

I have searched and tried to install some kext files for both, but non are working.


Also another question. In the system/library/extensions folder, there are some kext files that are highlighted red, and some amber. what does this mean?

hi im installed OSX SL universal 3.6 an updated to 1.6.6 without problem in a ACEr 5375 (not Z)
i make audio works with voodoo HDA kext
graphics GMA 4500 HD doesnt work yet ( no kext aailable), only 1024x768
usb ok!
touch pad and kb works fine at beginning but right now doesnt work ( i try to install applePS and voodoops2 and cant fix this)

but still no ethernet. the graphics dosnt mather.

sorry ethernet doesnt work for me... and wifi too

wifi works with me but there are 3 different types of ethernet hardware for the aspire 5735z

WHAT kext do you use for wifi?
