    Has anyone had luck with a Intel Q6600? It is a Core2 Quad CPU, I am unsure if it is supported.

    hey after i create lion installer ...................then i burn this do disc (lion installer.dmg)..........is der a chance to boot from dvd.............!

    thanks!!! you have not failed me yet helping me out. i was able to boot lion via USB extracting everything from the lion install dvd instead of the app following your guide 85%. did a lil bit of tinkering, switched around some of the steps with MaLd0n's Insanely Mac guide here... you straight foward for the most part. the links that didnt work on your guide, MaLd0n's came in handy.
    one thing i regret is the fact that i had to install over my current mac os (because it wasnt partitioned, just one os) but luckily i can back that up with time machine from a previous backup with no problem.
