Default Trying to install Snow Leopard :( HELP

Ok, so here are my specs:

HP Pavilion g6 LAPTOP 'NOT' PC
    AMD Phenom 2 P650 Dual-Core Processor
    AMD 785GX Motherboard
ATI Mobility Radeon HD 4200 graphics card (if important)

    ********************

I am trying to follow this guide to install Snow Leopard but it's not working.

First off, my boot loader does not allow advanced changes so I cannot change SATA to AHCI mode.

I burned the Nawcom Mod to a DVD and it boots fine. Then I take my Snow Leopard 10.3 Retail and place it into the drive. I let it load for a little bit then I press "f5". I get "BOOTMGR IS MISSING".

Ok, so then I tried using a post from this thread, which is a user with the same laptop as mine, and the answer stated he should use "cpus=1 busratio=14 arch=i386 maxmem=2048 -f -v" that code.

So I used that code and then I swap the CDs and press "f5" then I get a kernel panic.

What am I doing wrong? I really want to use OSX rather than Windows 8. Any help is truly appreciated! Thankyou very much!

    Boot using the flag`s "cpus=1 busratio=14 arch=i386 maxmem=2048 -f -v" and when the Kernel Panic happens take a picture...

There`s no way to take Screen Shot at this spot...

So, you have some problem with your DVD drive or your OS X disk...

Ok so I reburned a new Snow Leopard dmg to a new disc and it worked. HOWEVER, when I get to the "which drive would you like to install OSX on?" There is none. Does this mean that I just don't have a partition with enough memory? If so how do I create a partition for JUST OSX? I know how to wipe a partition I just don't have a clue if there is a specific type like NTFS is just for windows.

First set SATA to AHCI mode on your MOBO BIOS...

If you will install on the same disk where you will install OS X, from windows, create a partition in FAT32...

Reboot, start the installation process and now you should be able to see your disk, select the partition that you just create on windows, go in ERASE tab, format as HFS+...

Install OS X on this partition...
