Thread: Noob here AMD Asus a8n5x

Is it possible to install on a Asus A8N5X motherboard Sepec:
AMD Athlon64 (939) 3800+ dual core
2 gigs corsair ram
1 gig EVGA 8800gt 1 gig graphics card
sound blaster audigy soundcard.

Your best bet would be to use the Hazard 10.6.6i distribution. Google for where to download it. As far as the install options, you will need to get detailed specs on your rig, but with the right install options, it should work. On any AMD rig I have installed on, you must boot from dvd and on the final install with these options: cpus=1 busratio=20
