Thread: newbie needs help

so im trying to get my radeon hd 5650 to work on snow leopard and im not sure how to make the patch work. i have the patch but do not understand how to apply it. i have osx86tools and i dont know where to go form there. i paid someone to put this os on my laptop and they said its impossible to make it work so i feel ripped off and i just want my computer to do what i paid for. thanks

Is the "patch" in a .kext form?
