Using
Windows 7 64bit
Dell Studio 15 laptop, Intel core i3

I am able to update snow leopard from 10.6.0 to 10.6.1,
BUT when i update to 10.6.2 it is showing update successful and after rebooting it is saying 'Operating system not found.'

you need to re-install the chameleon again, before you restart the system after installing the update 10.6.2, and also all kexts that coem with the system.
if update fails again, start the system with "arch=i386 cpus=1 mach_kernel -v", without quotes.
System will load in 32 bit mode and of course, with -v flag kernel will know for sure where is the problem
