Thread: USB devices are not detected. Please help.

Today I installed Mac OS 10.6.3 retail on my PC using AppliArt's tutorial (http://www.kexts.com/desktops/9746-g...-10-6-amd.html), but my USB devices are not being detected; They don't show up in the System Profiler or Finder. I've tried installing kexts, and that doesn't help either. It's possible I could be installing them wrong. Can someone help me fix this problem? Thanks in advance!

I have a HP Pavilion p6210y with a Galaxy GeForce GTS 450 graphics card.

By the way, I have not made any modifications to the original Mac OS bootloader or kernel.

Try install latest version of chameleon bootloader, it have system preferences options and you will find an option that says "usb Fix" select it.
