Thread: Help with Asus u50f

I'm trying to make this laptop a hackintosh

The furthest I got was idneb 1.3. I tried following several other guides, none of them worked.

I need help determining what is can be installed and how. Any help would be greatly appreciated. I did buy mountain lion if that's possible...

okno prob its my video usb boot method

The boot pen was succsesfully created, im able to run it on my machine.

however, it hangs on the apple logo screen before installation. i looked at it in verbose mode and i get the appleintelcpupowermanagement timed out error. earlier in the script it also says unable to open /var/db/bootcache.playlist: 2 no such file or directory

how do i fix this?

ok use this boot flag one by one
respecte the space

-f -v cpus=1 USBBusFix=Yes npci=0x2000
-f -v PCIRootUID=1 npci=0x3000 GraphicsEnabler=No
-f -v -x GraphicsEnabler=No cpus=1 npci=0x2000
-f -v PCIRootUID=1 npci=0x3000 GraphicsEnabler=yes

I tried the second line, and i see a lot of load succeeded lines, but now its saying "still waiting for root device"

my guess is this has something to do with the HDD? i am dual booting mac and windows 7. do i need to wipe my mac partition that has ideneb installed?

yes maiby helps you whit just 1hfs+ partition erasse Ideneb is in the past that
