There're interrupts of sound playing anyway. I think that one is by not working AppleIntelCPUPowerManagement.kext. There's amd.

Try iAtkos S3 v2 which is 10.6.3

It works on my Asus M4A78 Plus with AMD Athlon II X4 which I now have updated to 10.6.8

in your BIOS make sure you switch to AHCI and disable cool n quiet...

You should be able to load into the iAtkos S3 v2 installation without any flags. You just have to be patient.

Choose qoopz 10.3.0 and chameleon RC4.

After it installs boot with -v -f cpus=1 busratio=12 (for your CPU. My busratio is 14.5) arch=i386 PCIRootUID=1 -force64

For the update: you might need to run the 10.6.8 update helper before and after the 10.6.8 combo update or you might get a KP during update. DO NOT RESTART YET.

Before you restart copy these kexts to system/library/extensions

Then boot install CD again and repair disk permissions from disk utility.

Then boot into your desktop (dont forget flags) and install Nawcoms 10.6.8 legacy kernel.
