    Default How's this motherboard?

Gigabyte GA-P61-S3-B3. I did a research on it, but someone says that it has VIA Audio, another guy says it has Realtek Audio. Does anyone know which audio it has?

Depends on the version of the motherboard:
    GIGABYTE - Moederbord - Socket 1155 - GA-P61-S3-B3 (rev. 1.0)

    Rev 1 = VIA VT1708 codec
    Rev 1.1 and 2 = Realtek ALC 887 codec

Thanks, but if it has VIA VT1708 codec, is it going to be hard to make it work?

It is possible but not as good as ALC887 with AppleHDA.

Don't forget to delete AppleHDA first.

Thank you, I decided to go with GA-H61M-D2-B3, first I couldn't find it in the DSDT Database, then I found out that it was before my screen was too small and it was hidden. It has Realtek ALC889, will it work?

    Yes, very good.
    ALC889 - Lion / Mountain Lion GM - Downloads - OSx86.net

And if you want to make the best DSDT for your motherboard with your own hardware:
Here you can find the patch: olarila.com • User Control Panel • Login

Your last 2 posts where moderated, fixed now. After 10 posts, your post will not be moderated anymore, sorry for this.

First link is to make the audio work. But if you think you can do it with rollback from MultiBeast just try it

Mine are for Mountain Lion too.

I'm sorry, my English sucks, I'm Chinese, what does "Your last 2 posts where moderated, fixed now. After 10 posts, your post will not be moderated anymore, sorry for this." mean?
