The easiest way that I know is to look at your boot.plist and under Kernel Flags, do you have it blank or does it have some xx86 value?

Mine is blank. I set it up that way so it would boot as 64bit.

No. I dont even have one. I just saw the terminal code and used it to make sure I was running 64bit. I am sorry if that was misleading elmangomez.

My boot.plist shows a blank entry against Kernel Flags - and my GA311 is ticking over fine

No, sorry. GA311 is providing me with the same functionality I enjoyed under 10.5.
I am able to stream media through an apple TV, access other macs on my network and also access a printer connected to my airport extreme.
Perhaps it is something in the way the lifehacker guide was configured - I did not do any manual configuration,

Hey, elmangomez. I'm using a GA311 that I bought before my EFi-X was sold on eBay. It is and always has been working for me on 10.6.2 with full Bonjour support. A good way to tell if Bonjour is working with only one Mac or no AFP share on your network is to use Apple TV or an iPhone/iPod Touch if you have one. If your iTunes sees your Apple TV, Bonjour is working. If you can use the 'Remote' app on the iPhone to control iTunes, Bonjour is working. This doesn't apply to you, but if you have a file server or another Mac with an AFP share, and it appears in the finder automatically under 'Shared' without you searching for it, Bonjour is working. If you have any questions about my config, etc. lee me know.
