Default Anything in a way with Intel 82567LV-2 drivers for Snow Leopard ?

    Hi,

I put The Intel 82566MM.kext on my DELL STUDIO XPS 435 MT and it works for about 10 minutes with internet. Then, it losts my IP adress and I can't navigate through the web.
I think this kext didn't worked fine with this internal ethernet card, isn't it ?
Or maybe I missed something to configure properly to work with... If someone as any advice, I'll be so gracefull !
Anyway, I'm pretty happy to have a great Mac Pro with this device !
    have a nice day...

    Thank you,
...But it seems that the the lastest topic in this thread (at Google's) named Issue 6 works fine on 10.6.3 in 64-bits. The other side of the problem is... How can I compile a whole folder of C code to make a proper .kext file ?
As I read yesterday on Intel's website, there's a Linux driver for this ethernet's chipset. But I didn't understand how to bring it as a .kext file. It seems VERY difficult for a non-programmer as I am.
    But thank you anyway...

In fact, I didn't seen that there is a .kext
And I'd installed it. But there's still issue with network : the Hackintosh did the handshake with my router, took all the informations (ip adress, ipv4 & ipv6, etc.), connected extremely quickly to internet...
... Then, around 15 minutes of use, there's something wrong (slow connections, low bitrate, etc.) and in Preferences : it looses all informations, just getting a strange ip adress, no router adress (it seems good just in ipv6 field, strangely...)... And I couldn't connect either, even if I tried to reset the DHCP server !
So : is it me or is there any advice about configuration ?
    Thank you all in advance...

have you tryed a static IP adres? i wonce had a dodgy cable and fixed it with that.

back to your problem how do you know you have the last version of the kext file :P
just saying that sometimes you dont know what version you are downloading.
i think this kext file could be a plug in to an other kext.

well i cant help with the linux stuff im just not that a good a programmer. but more people seem to be doing it.
they have just ported my driver intel 85276 link
you could ask there how they did it

    Yesterday,
I make 2 Ethernet configurations on Network's Preferences : one with DHCP, the other on IP fixed adress (same setup as DHCP, with same adresses for machine, router and submask)
I noticied as I checked ifconfig on Terminal that the eth0 added one step on the router adress (the ip adress of the router is 192.168.0.254 and ifconfig listed it as 192.168.0.255)
    Any ideas someone here ?

    Hi anyone,
I still have no answers about internet issues on my workstation... The thing is it works fine for File Sharing operations, but I still can't navigate through internet, with safari, Google Chrome or Firefox, even on Software Update. It seems that my DELL internal ethernet port can't reach anything from port 80... And I don't know why ?
Anyone can give me some advices to check anything on Ethernet Port (like routing, ipconfig, etc...) ?
    Thank you.
