    • Modified the installation process. You no longer have to install Kakewalk to your hard drive after successfully installing Lion.
      This is now done during the installation of Lion. The guide has been updated to reflect these changes.

    • Fixed an issue with “foreign” characters not being properly encoded (Cyrrilic etc)
    • Fixed issues with parenthesis and filenames

    Default Mac OS X 10.7.3 Combo Update

    Apple has released its latest update to Lion. To upgrade your Kakewalk installation please follow these instructions. Be sure to back up important data in case anything goes wrong.


    1. Install the Mac OS X 10.X.X Combo update
      Download Kakewalk
      Download and install Mac OS X 10.7.3 Combo Update
      Make sure NOT to reboot!

    2. Upgrading Kakewalk
      Start the Kakewalk application.
      Click the button Upgrade Installation
      Let the installer finish and then reboot!
