Anyone have experience with this laptop? It's a sandy bridge 11.6er.

i would also like to know if theres a way to get osx on this laptop. picked it up the other day and it'd be perfect as a mac

noname is right but if you want Lion the install is different. If you need help with this just message me, I have the same laptop. Someone needs to make a custom DSDT.aml for this thing!!!! It's a sweet Mac. I'll figure it out if no one does it soon.

What kext are you using for the wireless?

I could not get my intel N-130 card to work so I just bought a micro wireless USB($20) and since then wifi works fine

I just got the sound working. If anyone needs a dsdt for this thing let me know. It's not perfect but it works. I'm currently getting the occasional KP on startup and I have to reset the mic volume every time I log on. But its worth it until I find a more stable kext.
If anyone needs help let me know. Also, I had to crash and reinstall 3 times to figure out a method that allows you to boot without safe mode. The only thing that isn't working is the wireless and I don't really care about that. I'm no pro at Hackintosh but this install is a little tricky to get right, It's not hard to accomplish but it take some trial and error, so again if anyone needs help let me know.

How did you update? I'm not sure I even care too, but for the sake of knowledge.(if its the standard backup your kext, update, repair permission, run kext utility, reset you can just say "the standard procedure")

I've also have a Del XPS M1530 that I'm running 10.6.8 on and it runs perfectly! ALLOT OF TWEAKING!!! but all of the hardware is compatible if you take the time to set it all up. If anyone needs help, I've mastered the art of the 1530. I got every panic in the world so I know that laptop better than my Series 3.

UPDATE: I just installed 10.7 on an ASUS G50v. Running like a champ if anyone needs help with that. It's almost exactly the same install as the m1530(almost the same hardware). Republic of Gamers ASUS G50v

I got everything to work on my Samsung except brightness hdmi audio and my 10 key and wake when I close my lid these r all dsdt problems but I edit my dsdt compile it it's a success but nothin seems to want to work
