Have you got a Windows recovery DVD, so that you could restore, just in case?
You may know that you will need a EFI compatible bootloader and a 10.6 DVD.

si ho un cd di ripristino windows ..
ho provato a seguire molte guide ma nessuna mi e riuscita a portare a termine l'istallazzione quando metto il cd e premo f8 si blocca tutto in tutti i cd che ho scaricato
vi prego illustratemi voi la guida migliore ho anke iatos l1
I dont speak Italian, but from what I gathered you have to press F8 to call for your BIOS boot selector?
I did set up my Intel box with TonyMacs iBoot and the AMD with Nawcom´s ModCD, so I can recomend both of them.
Try booting with -v and write down the last three lines or post a picture so that someone with more skills than me may be able to help you along.
Probably your Christmas wish might still be fulfilled...
