Here you can find a brief explanation about the most common patches > olarila.com • View topic - DSDT patching 101

Also there are some patches specific for Notebooks like Fn keys, Clamshell (PNLF) and some others that you can find here > Some useful DSDT patches - Project OS X Forums

And don`t forget that for you get Sleep properly working, you need to patch your AppleRTC.kext > CMOS Resets on Restarts after Sleep and Wake in 10.7 (Lion) - InsanelyMac Forum

Well, during these days I tried to patch my DSDT variously, HPET, LPC, RTC, IRQs, one by one and all together, but I guess something is wrong because when I compile the DSDT I always get errors or warnings, and after saving the file if I re-open and re-apply the same patches I get the same amount of warnings and fixed errors, so I'm very confused at the moment and have no further idea what to try. Anyway, I extracted a DSDT and now I'm able to boot with it without KP or any previous issue (monitor brightness, touchpad and keyboards not working) but still with a poorer CPU score than with NullCPUPM, while with "your" DSDT I get higher score but with the issues I mentioned. So, this is my current DSDT (dsdt.aml), could you please take a look at it and eventually try patching it just for what concerns the CPU power management/performance? I know it's an annoying job, but it's not for free...help me,please!

actually I tried patching this automatically with GUI DSDT patcher, but it changed nothing, neither issue nor CPU performace difference. Anyway, if you prefer, I could extract a new clean one.

that's it, extracted with DSDT EDITOR booting without any DSDT and with patched AICPUPM. No pathces or error fixing applied: dsdt.aml
