    if you need, it only hides from "Finder"

    Good to hear it's working but I don't agree with disk/partion number

    UUID=8BCD6347-4CR5-32A7-A3FB-8H35281DB30E none hfs rw,noauto 0 0
    1, 2, 3, 4, 5 and 6

    Basically an fstab entry has the following fields:
    1. Device identifier (device file or UUID or LABEL)
    2. Mount point
    3. Filesystem type (e.g. hfs, vfs,nfs,ntfs)
    4. Options (rw means read and write, ro means read only, noauto means don't mount automatically, nouser means only superuser can mount device. There are more options, usually depending on the fstype)
    5. Indicates whether the fs needs to be dumped (0=no, any other number means yes)
    6. Indicates whether the fs needs to be checked at boot time (0=no)

    How to edit and understand /etc/fstab
    The 5th column in /etc/fstab is the dump option.
    The 6th column is a fsck option.

    0=ignore
    If it is NOT 0 then don't ignore

    But for sure not disk/partition number
    I think it should do the job without the last 2 numbers, can you please check again?

    In Disk Utility you can mount the drive again.
    Or just remove the file /etc/fstab, its hidden. Use the app ShowHide files or so.

    Onyx didn't work for me - it didn't give me an error or anything, but after it restarted the Finder my Windows partition still appeared on the desktop. I'm going to give the /etc/fstab method a try, but I can't reboot my machine at the moment because I'm waiting for something to finish.

    Found more options for the last number:
    https://help.ubuntu.com/community/Fstab
    It can be 0, 1 or 2, but 3 is not used?

    If it's fine now and you don't want to mess with your system, don't do it.
    Else it would be nice to know if it will work for you with 0 0, I think it should work

    You can edit the file with:
    sudo pico /etc/fstab

    And it's not difficult to change it back
