Exclamation Chameleon 2.0.0 RC5 dont read any changes in org.chameleon.Boot.plist

none of the changes made to org.chameleon.Boot.plist file, doesnt seems to apply? theme is that ugly basic DOS like. even it wont boot without pressing Enter. it just sits on boot device choices.

my hackintosh is working fine, but this just annoyes me a lot. it looks like Chameleon is reading some other *.plist? how is that even possible?
Here is how my Extra folder, theme folder and org.chameleon.Boot.plist looks like.

Chameleon 2.0.0 RC5 dont (doesn't) read any changes in org.chameleon.Boot.plist < THIS IS WHY!

    Chameleon 2 RC5 uses com.apple.Boot.plist
    Chameleon 2.1svn r11xx and up uses org.chameleon.Boot.plist

Since com.apple.Boot.plist is an OS X file (it already exists in original location), if none found in Extra folder (org.chameleon.Boot.plist doesn't count for Chameleon 2 RC5), the boot loader (Chameleon 2 RC5 in this case) it loads any information in this one.

wow! thaks man! if i add com.apple.Boot.plist to Extra folder, do i have to delete one in original location, or it would load anyway?

No. If Chameleon finds one in Extra folder it loads the information from this one and the one from original location is simply ignored.

    Hi there!

Check with fdisk is your Mac OS X partition active. If not, probably there lies the problem.

    Hehehe, yours too!

Yes, that could be the problem. Just set the flag on partition where is Max OS X installed. Let us see what your fdisk -e /dev/rdisk0 , after print says.
