    Default application migration

This may sound like a stupid question, but better to ask before I screw up everything.

If I have SL installed on a USB disk, is it possible to migrate the applications over to it from the regular leopard disk, or is it a windows type thing where everything has to be reinstalled? Does migration assistant do this?

    TIA,
    R.

You can use migration assistant to migrate applications, but...

My experience has been that even though it seems like it went OK, over time the computer will just start behaving very strangely. It's hard to find the direct cause and effect link in these experiences, but my suspicion is that it was related to migration assistant, so I always opt for a clean install.
