the snow leopard's driver not working for me

You already tried this > IOPCIFamily FOR BROADCOM WIRELESS 10.6.6 - Downloads - Kexts.com

If yes, try adding you DeviceID on the "info.plist" file inside of the kext...

You can use this app to know your DeviceID > System Info - Downloads - Kexts.com

And take a look at this thread to add your DeviceID > http://www.kexts.com....html#post75196 (Translate with Google)

thanks,
i tried to change info.plist
i think that the right lines are:

<key>IOPCIMatch</key>
<string>0x00261011</string>
from the program i got:
vendor id: 14e4
and for device id i got 4315

so what should be the string after the change?

thanks

Leave a clean copy of the kext on a sefe place...

Open the "info.plist" file with TextEdit.app...

Change the key that you found...

<key>IOPCIMatch</key>
<string>0x00261011</string>

For the key below...

<key>IOPCIPrimaryMatch</key>
<string>0x431514e4</string>

Save the file and see if TextEdit don't change the extension of the file to .txt ...

Open a terminal window, type the commands below and drop the modified kext into the terminal window...

chown -R 0:0 (DROP THE KEXT HERE)

chmod -R 755 (DROP THE KEXT HERE)

Install the kext on /System/Library/Extensions and run the Maintenance rotines using Kext Wizard > Kext Wizard 3.7.3 - Downloads - Kexts.com

Reboot and boot again in Verbose Mode ( -v )...

Try the Broadcom kext i have uploaded. Works for my bcm 4312 10.6.7, 32 bit.
Not tested 64bit or in lion but worth a shot.

Install E/E

kkffiirr,

I had the same problem on Lion 10.7.3 32bits and i fixed by removing the original kexts (sudo rm -rf /System/Library/Extensions/IO80211Family.kext /System/Library/Extensions/IONetworkingFamily.kext) and installing the kexts of this topic 'Lion 10.7.1 installed on intel dual core cpu.. BCM 4312 Now working.. - InsanelyMac Forum' with Kext Wizard. And this new kexts are for 32bits and 64 bits.

Using the SystemInfo of this site Kexts (System Info - Downloads - OSx86.net) or lspci -nn i get this info.

SystemInfo:
14e4 Broadcom Corporation 4315 BCM4312 802.11b/g LP-PHY Network controler Network controler

lspci:
0b:00.0 Network controller [0280]: Broadcom Corporation BCM4312 802.11b/g LP-PHY [14e4:4315] (rev 01)

Check if your device id is present in one of the Info.plist that are in the IO80211Family.kext of that topic. I've found mine in here:

IO80211Family.kext/Contents/PlugIns/AppleAirPortBrcm4311.kext/Contents/Info.plist: <string>pci14e4,4315</string>
