Like the title says: I installed iAtkos V7 on my HDD but with my first boot it gets stuck at the grey apple screen.

I tried a couple of flags in chameleon like:
-v, -x, busratio=20, cpus=1, cpus=0, GraphicsEnabler=yes

When I boot in verbose mode (-v) then a lot of text goes over my screen en then after a while my screen turns totally black.
Non-verbose mode brings me to the grey apple screen without a loading circle.

I'm not 100% sure if I have installed all the right kexts.

Anybody has an solution for me?

Can you post a screenshot while the last moment of Verbose mode passes? Also did you followed any guide or you are totally on your own?

I successfully installed Mac OS 10.5.7 using iATKOS v7 on Acer Aspire One 722 netbook after struggling for three looong weeks but the problem is when the install success message comes and pc restarts the Chameleon bootloader screen comes and after a while the apple logo comes but before appearing the spinning wheel the screen becomes blurry & i stuck there & therefore i cannot boot. :-(

I used a couple of boot flags like "-v -x -f DSDT=null arch=i386 npci=0x2000 cpus=1 Graphics enabler=yes Use KernelCache=yes PCIRootUID=1 busratio=10" but none of these worked i tried them both individually and together.

One more thing i heard i have to patch the CPU-IDs using Marvin's AMD Utility but this i have to do after first boot on a running mac as far as i know right?
Some people said i have to patch it first then the os will boot. But here the situation is i couldn't boot so how can i patch the CPU-IDs before booting for the first time?

What else i should do? i dont have any other idea how to make it work coz im new in mac os. Anyone has got any idea on how to solve this problem?? plz help i cant wait to run this gorgeous os!!!

=================================

Bro the same thing i faced few hours ago but now i'm running my hackintosh :-) bingo!!!
Now the question is how did i do that?? I just used two bootflags to solve this problem.

"busratio=8 -v" type this without Parentheses

busratio is always determined by your processors clock speed as far as i know, i'm not a mac geek or something like that u know i read about this from insanelymac forum

Now the reason i used "busratio=8" because my clock speed in mac shows less than what actually it is for an unknown reason. My netbook has got 1ghz processor but in mac os it is 667mhz. Also, my desktop has got 2.66ghz processor where i used "busratio=20". So now if you have 3ghz processor may be you can use "busratio=30" but i'm not so sure.

So, i hope it will work for your notebook too. To know more about which busratio you should use visit insanely mac forum, they explained this issue very nicely in a thread.
