I tried this Kernel too and this time the dyld is almost perfect.
Anvīs description:
I updated the sources so that dyld builds with Xcode 4.
This fixed the issue of Finder / SystemUIServer crashing with the custom dyld.
/System/Library/CoreServices/pbs still needs to be packed with upx though.
Also some apps that use Auto::zone::zone (for some ObjC apps) still need packing with upx.
The dyld became faster and more stable with the latest patches though.
On the fly patching works fine (tested it) on any app I've tested it on.
I've also added a new patched kernel with cpu model 15 patch (Atom / new Celeron specific, separate kernel).

This is how I installed it on my 1090T rename the kernel and place it in the root directory Download upx and place it in /bin you can get it here:: http://www.projectosx.com/forum/inde...showtopic=1607 repair permissions in disk utility edit "com.apple.Boot.plist" to use the new kernel reboot in single user mode "-S" when the command line appears do this:: type in "mount -uw /" hit enter (No quotes) type in "exit" hit enter (No Quotes) The GUI should come up now. run these commands in a terminal:: 1. sudo amd_insn_patcher /usr/lib/libSystem.B.dylib /usr/lib/libSystem.B.dylib 2. sudo update_dyld_shared_cache 3. sudo amd_insn_patcher /System/Library/QuickTime/QuickTimeComponents.component/Contents/MacOS/QuickTimeComponents /System/Library/QuickTime/QuickTimeComponents.component/Contents/MacOS/QuickTimeComponents 4. sudo amd_insn_patcher /usr/lib/dyld /usr/lib/dyld 5. sudo upx --force /System/Library/CoreServices/pbs repair permissions in disk utility edit com.apple.Boot.plist again to add these boot flags:: "cpus=6 busratio=16 arch=i386 -force64" (No quotes) If your system is over clocked change the busratio to your cpu multiplier reboot and cross fingers. |

With this kernel you donīt have to patch libsystemB.dylib because it donīt use the standard dyld without special bootflag. Thatīs the reason why it is called "with custom dyld". ![]() |

"usupehmat 29th April 2011 at 09:27 any one can help" did you put 10.7 kernel before update osx? try with GraphicsEnabler=No. If GE=no doesnt fix it update to 10.6.7 somehow(i had to manually unpack the update and copy it to my snow HDD) |
