not worked for me, but i dont know, I changed the kexts iopci e apleacpi... so , maybe is that the reason the boot not working, after a while , blank screen..... |

This didn't work for me either. I installed the 10.6.8 combo update first than I installed the 10.6.8 legacy kernel. I rebooted the system and it go stops at the apple logo and the turning wheel. Help |

@Djuri: try to replace IOPCIFamily.kext and IOACPIPlatform.kext 10.6.7 into / Extra / Extensions, don't forget use kext wizard or kext utility to repair permissions/rebuilt kext to fix your problem @Husaber: i have you have notebook try this http://prasys.info/2011/06/howto-mac...d-intel-atoms/ |

Nawcom legacy_kernel works well with old pentium D 945 and Asus P5E Deluxe. (X48+iCH9-R) Videocard is Asus EN9800GT with 1 Gb memory. I only use combo update + install new kernel. FakeSMC is 3.1 and Chameleon is 1091. I use "disabler kext" in E/E, which disabler AppleIntelCPUPowermanagement kexts, and put new SleepEnabler in S/L/E. PleaseSleep 2.0 software is excellent "driver" to handling sleep. Put apple.com.boot.plist: forcewake yes. |

I try to install snow leopard volume control does not work, iTunes does not work properly, I tried different kernels everything works perfectly. spotligh broken. this kernel work?
