Hi,

Hereby for everyone who has trouble to install lion 10.7 GM on a M1530 (i have C2D 7500).
I included the Extra folder and the Extensions folder which i use, without problem!

Remove the following Kexts:
1. AppleHDA
2. AppleIntelCPUPowerManagement.kext
3. AppleIntelCPUPowerManagementClient.kext

Then you will have:
1. Bluetooth
2. Wifi
3. Sound
4. Touchpad
5. Battery indicator
6. full QE video
7. Sleep with battery and powercable!

I also used the following bootloader: Chameleon-2.0-RC5-r1083.pkg

-Using the proper DSDT.aml you needn't to remove AppleIntelCPUPowerManagenet.kext and AppleIntelCPUPowerManagenetClient.kext.
- You have no need to put AppleACPIPlatform.kext IO80211Family.kext and IOPCIFamily.kext in S/L/E
take a look here http://www.insanelymac.com/forum/ind...=post&id=97830
-If you want to simplify the precess of making audio work you can directly download the VodooHDA package here http://code.google.com/p/voodoohda/d...g.zip&can=2&q= so you'll have a prefpane to adjust audio settings and you don't have to remove AppleHDA.kext (the package makes that itself).
-I reccomand you to use Chameleon 1200 VS.
-This is what I use to make my M1530 work proper. http://dl.dropbox.com/u/998860/M1530.zip

Uh and I forgot to tell you that Cameleon 2.0 RC5 r1227 [vs] doesn't work for me! (loads only with "ignore cache -f" mode) Use r1224 or r1200

I figure M1530 is very similar to the M1330 right ? except for the graphics card and the laptop size.
Why is it that i can't install Lion on mine have tried all sorts of Guides but Lion ends up freezing during install... with and without DSDT.aml I need help with this, snow leopard runs very smooth on it though.

@quiddgame read the first post here http://www.insanelymac.com/forum/ind...owtopic=190780 in that post download the proper DSDT.aml and BCM5722D.kext; then download http://dl.dropbox.com/u/998860/M1530.zip. Put "Extra" folder into you root folder, copy kexts in S/L/E. At the end put BCM5722D in S/L/E and the DSDT which you downloaded first into your root folder.
