You need to made your DSDT by following the instructions of the text file inside of the DSDT folder created at your /Application folder and put the generated DSDT inside of your /Extra folder... Remove all VoodooHDA.kext and LegacyHDA.kext that you have on /Extra/Extensions or /System/Library/Extensions... And install Legacy ALC8XXHDA.kext and AppleHDA.kext from the package on /System/Library/Extensions... Before you reboot, run the terminal commands that you will find on the file "READ ME FIRST" inside of the DSDT folder and after you run all commands reboot the machine... When you`re back to OS X you will have you Sound fully working, Analog and Digital outputs... |

ok on the second step of the readmine it says run the DSDT Auto Patcher referencing the AML file on the desktop and the txt file on the Applications . DSDT folder....the click apply and wait a few seconds....then a Save As Window should appear....on my end no save as window appears and it just says applying patches... on the DSDT auto Patcher Log...theres no indication that it actually finished applying patches and no save as window appears...help please |

I continued with the instructions since the save as window did not appear in the DSDT auto patcher window. I performed all the terminal commands after I cleared boot cache and repaired disk permissions. It looks like now its stuck on the Apple symbol boot screen ![]() |
