Sagia.. It's easy just read the "Readme" in the downloaded file... O wait there is no Readme file... Get used to this type of quality information in the OSX86 community. Also get used to getting replies to your questions that never give you an answer. |

Here's to show all the @#@$%#@$%#@$% users how to post a reply... PC EFI V 10.6 is a lousy name for a Bootloader. it's a version of Chameleon's bootloader by NetKas.org it should have been called NetKasBoot! EFI the first partition in a GUID partition schema that apple never uses. For some freaking reason the OSX86 developer community is obsessed with EFI and in using that partition even if logic dictates otherwise. The name PC EFI starts off any new user on the wrong foot. So again PC EFI is a boot loader. What you want first is a Bootloader installer named Chameleon. Download and install it on a USB key. http://www.kexts.com/view/3-chameleon_2.0-rc2.html Use a USB key and once your aquatinted with it dig deeper into it's usage. Once installed use Tinkertool to show hidden files. On the usb key you will see a file named "boot" which is the boot loader. Replace it with the one from PC EFI V 10.6. A+ |

Would someone please tell us noobies how to install this onto the efi partition? Tonymac's guide was of no help as I kept coming up with errors at sudo fdisk -f boot0 -u -y /dev/rdisk0. Said it wasn't a file or directory (can't remember which as that was 15 tries ago. Thanks |
