here is a kext combo that worked for me 10.6.8
simple to install
kext wizard
install 2 kext example below
2 locations
Extra/Extensions/ALC8xxHDA.kext from multibeast
and
System/Library/Extensions/VoodooHDA-1.kext voodoohda 2.7.2
run maintanance with kext wizard
dont know really why its that way but it works great.
kext credits to the osx86.net community/voodoohda labs project/tonysmac.

Have a Medion Akoya Mini E1210. My Speakers work perfect with an early version of ALC888s kext, but am asking if this can get my headphone jack, internal mic and mic-jack working...please write down your experiences....peace out |

This did not work for an MSI-G31TM-P21 motherboard and it has the ALC888S audio chip on it. Running osx 10.7.0 |

Works for me, running 10.7.2 I used the original AppleHDA.kext, not the one form the archive. after copy rep permissions with next wizard, reboot... done! greetings from germany hummerdash |

Works like charm for me: but first time i didn't run maintanance with kext wizard so it caused kernel error and i had to reinstall lion then it worked  |

Worked 100% on my MSI G31M3-F V2 Motherboard! Thank you so much. I am Running Snow Leopard 10.6.8. GTS 250 and 4 meg ran. Runs maceq great with sound. |
