AppleHDA 10.7.2 for ALC888, mic working here. Please before testing, backup and remove all the existing audio kexts, repair pemissoes the disk and then install this Kext with Kext Utility.
I also tested with HDA Wizard, includes Info.plist, Platforms.xml, layout888.xml for those who want to test with the HDA Wizard. Worked well here.
Note: You will need proper DSDT edits for this kext to work.
