USB 3.0 from MacBook Pro (Mid 2012) Updates
tested in ASRock Z77 Extreme 4
All USB3.0 Port WORKING flawlessly
install with kext wizard, repair permissions, rebuild caches.

Don't work on my ASUS P8Z68-V Pro/GEN3 (ASMedia ASM1042, patched BIOS 3304). I've tried with both Lion 10.7.4 and Mountain Lion 10.8 DP4, but the result is the same - the USB 3.0 ports are totaly dead. @abn0rmal what is your BIOS config? DO you use pathed BIOS? |

Tried this on a 17" MBP ML 10.8 DP4 with both the AKE dual port USB3 and the Silverstone one. I've tried modbin with the LaCie driver and the CalDigit one and nothing shows up in the system info. If I do: sudo kextload -v /System/Library/Extensions/PXHCD.kext it loads fine, but still nothing in the profiler. Have power cycled, rebooted, repaired permissions, nada. I've got the GM that I'm gonna install in the next few days, but I'm not getting my hopes up. |
