The DP3 files from JohnJCash, you need it for Mountain Lion

This is the latest version AFAIK. Ver. 1.0.8. And yes multibeast uses it also. But not everyone wants to download 30MB for just one driver of ±100Kb. |

Ok. Thanx for the reply. If this is the same one then no point of me trying since the one in multibeast doesnt work for me in DP4. Works fine in lion. Strange, but oh well. |

@baap786 this combo of kexts will work in DP4 and I expect necerssary in final release. DP3 rollback to enable PXHCD for NEC(Renesas) USB3 card:: IOUSBFamily.kext IOUSBMassStorageClass.kext PXHCD.kext |

Hey John, Thanx for the tip. I am good with hackintosh, but not as good as you guys. I did a fresh install of DP4 with PXHCD from multibeast. So correct me if I am wrong, I don't have to rollback right ? Just install IOUSBFamily.kext, and IOUSBMassStorageClass.kext right ? Also, a n00b question for you, what exactly do you mean my rollback ? Re-installation of PXHCD ? Thank you for help. |

What I meant by rollback was that those 2 kexts in DP4 needed to be "replaced" or "overwritten" in S/L/E by the ones in DP3. As for the PXHCD ikext, it can be installed any way you find convinent. In my case I do this when building my USB installer so it can R/W to my USB3 ports and when I actually use it to install MtnLion. I have a USB 3.0 SATA harddrive Docking Station to store stuff like disk images. |
