Clover V2 r544 .pkg .zip + BootSectors
How to Install for Dummies:
- Select Installation Directory by clicking Change Install Location
If you don't know where to install, format your USB Stick to either FAT32 or HFS+ and Install Clover there
Boot, check if it works, if it works install it on your EFI Partition or your OSX Root Partition (that where you installed your OS)
If you are on GPT and you don't have an EFI partition then you didn't created your GPT Partition Table with Disk Utility
If you are on GPT and you don't know what an EFI partition is - read www.projectosx.com forum!
If you are on MBR, well that's not a problem since Clover installs into MBR, just make an partition for it FAT32/HFS+ works fine. You can also simply install it directly on your OS X System partition, Clover willl install into EFI directory on / Filesystem
- Click Customize
- Leave default options for BIOS MBR unless you are on GPT/UEFI and you know that your UEFI Bios supports it
- Change to 32 bit if necessary on your system
- Select your EFI Drivers for 32 bit or 64 bit installation
- If you don't know what to choose, install only:
32bit: UsbMouseDxe-32
64bit: UsbMouseDxe-64, PartitionDxe.efi-64
Don't choose XhciDxe-64 or 32 if you are on USB 3.0/Reneas!
Click install, Reboot, select the right Boot Partition from your Boot menu.
Enjoy Clover V2 and send love to the makers!

@otherland: wipe the usb stick, create 200mb FAT32 partition on it, name it EFI, use MBR instead of GPT, install Clover using 32Bit / MBR combo, reboot. If still no luck use the bootsector tools in the .zip to reinstall MBR on your usb stick. all of info you need to do this is in .txt file |

@inoperable: sorry for being so stupid, but still no joy. did everything as you said -cleaned the stick -created FAT32 partition (2nd as HFS+) using MBR -installed the mentioned combo on FAT32 -rebooted -hangs with 6 and blinking cursor in upper left corner I can see everything in EFI but what i do next Do i have to ad my DSDT somewhere ? Do i have to do sth with config.plist ? I've read all the topics (projectosx) countless times, but i just can't wrap my head around it... i'm quite familiar with manual installations via terminal and editing kexts and so on, so i'm kind of frustrated that i can't get this to run ( i really want it !!! )... any help highly appreciated |

seems to be a problem with the boot -> boot0 -> ... loading chain. whick option do you choose from the package installer? you need one partition on usb stick, either hfs+ or fat32 and nothing more. you need to install clover into the MBR on that stick. |

to keep this dead simple: 1) diskutility -> usb stick -> partition -> 1 parttion (in options select MBR) -> erase -> msdos 2) launch .pkg installer 3) select the usb stick 4) don't select anything, just go with the default installation 5) check if the root directory of your usb stick contains an EFI directory and boot0, boot etc. files in it |

otherland@: you don't need dsdt - clover is clover, it does fetch your dsdt automatically, patch it and boots it. sneaky fucker, isn't he? |

Thanks a lot, Slice! You've done fantastic job! I have just installed Clover on my hack, and at last i have no CMOS reset, 100% working sleep mode + iCloud + FaceTime + Bootcamp + Boot Volume applet in Settings! Mac OS REALLY identifies my PC as native Mac! You are awesome, man! |
