This kext is tested on Gigabyte GA-H61M-S1. Mic works. It may work on another ALC codeks like ALC888b, but I haven't tested it out yet. Based on voodoohda.kext
You should read this before you install my kext:
1) Delete any conflict kexts like AppleHDA any ALC8xx enablers...etc.
2) After kexts is installed, reboot your pc and rebuild caches(-f), you can do it in Kext wizard too.
3)*If sound icon appears grey(grey volume icon): then go to System pretences>sound> and configure outputs to line-out.

I forgot to mention in my comment above, I updated my post about this motherboard, cause it works perfect without DSDT. |
