Special for the MSI p35 diamond owners, who now this motherboard has not a easy install here the solution I hope, with audio I get further to investigate what and how it works.

This  SL bootcd has to be used as known, so start with it and switch  retail snow after boot,  then install extra to hdd root, DsDT is patched for nvidia 7300 GT so if you use other videocard change that please.
The speedstep in the dsdt is for the 1.9 gig 6300 intel core to duo, so also change that with yours as you have other intel cpu, this speedstep has no audio glitches whatsoever.
audio is working with applehda,kext there is no legacy needed and also no voodoo or enabler, she are not present, I have patched the vanilla applehda.kext itselfs, 5.1 is supported but not tested, mic works..
For the install dvd no ebios errors you get just one icon, press F8 first change the dvd  with retail and then F5 after install press F10 to find your install dvd.
This install is very vanilla.
other p35 mobo,s like the platinum from msi are the same, what concerns the dsdt, other mobo,s you need to change, use my dsdt as reference.
