Just updated the new AppleHDA.kext from the 10.6.4 update. Line, Digital, and mic I/O. Install by dragging onto Kext Utility, set and repair permissions. Enjoy!
Edit: Manually remove ANY audio extensions, whether it is LegacyHDA, VoodooHDA, AND any previous AppleHDA from ~/s/l/e and ~/e/e before installing.
Edit2: This is for ALC888, not ALC888b (aka 887)

Does not appear to work with GA-EP45-UD3L Mobo running 10.6.4 ;-{ Any suggestions? |

It doesn't seem to work on GA-EP43-DS3L neither. I am desperate, nothing seems to work on this motherboard, even though there are people who might have got it. If I ever get the sound working, I'll post it in this site. Regards. |

Anyone get any of the various versions of the AppleHDA.kext to work on a system built around the Gigabyte GA-EP45-UD3L motherboard? I could not get any of the various kexts to work in 10.6.3, and have had no success in a 10.6.4 environment either. |
