This will install the original AppleBCM5071Ethernet.kext from 10.6.3 hex edited for the BCM 5784M Ethernet with id: (14e4:1698). Found in the Acer Aspire 8940G.

This kext work extremely well on my Dell Studio 1537, remember to delete all other broadcom 57xx kext before install  |

I regret to say i cannot get this working on an Acer 7738, has the BCM5784M according to broadcom. I will continue trying with some other things though |

AWESOME! Worx well now. (Installation was quite uneasy, worked from 3-4th time after several rebbots, but maybe it's me to blame.) I suggest everyone to open SysPrefs>Network after installation and reboot |
