Asus a43sj 10.8 kexts pack 1.0

About This File

So.. this is working kexts file for Asus A43SJ on Mountain Lion.

i get the kexts mostly from OSX86.net and for the touchpad driver on {censored}.com. .Ijust pack it together for this particular laptop. DSDT patched by me.

spec:

Asus A43SJ

Core i3 2330M 2.2GHz

Nvidia GeForce GT520M 1GB

Wifi & Bluetooth : AR9002WB / AR9285

Realtek Ethernet

2GB RAM

500GB HDD

Elantech Touchpad

-Installation using Latest Myhack (use generic option).

-boot system with -v -x (for the first time only)

-use kext utility to install kexts.

-put dsdt.aml in root directory "/"

-edit NVDAGF100hal.kext to work properly in /S/L/E ( otherwise you'll get stuck at boot). you just need to add this line in info.plist of NVDAGF100hal.kext. under IOPCIPrimaryMatch :

0x105010de&0xffe0ffff

-repair permission

-reboot

-to avoid random KP. boot with UseKernelCache=No

Enjoy

UPDATE: 100% working :D ( bluetooth, sound,mic sleep,restart,shutdown, fn Key, wifi, lan , Graphics NVidia GT520m).

Thanks @harimurtie for sound and mic :)!

Use final_dsdt.aml instead of the one in Asus-A43SJ-ML.zip

NVDAGF100Hal.kext uploaded for those who need it.

yes I currently quad boot Win/Osx 10.8/Osx10.8 DP3/Ubuntu 12.04.

DP3 is working perfectly in this laptop.

Dont delete Geforce.kext. After succesfull install, boot to another working OSX (e.g Lion if you dual boot with that) or windows (using macdrive) and put all the kext to /S/L/E and boot with -v -f

NVDAGF100hal.kext and NVDARsman.kext is available now. sorry forgot that earlier.:P

That link is for GT 520 Desktop GPU.. but this method only work for GT 520M.

I dont have problem when installing. but first boot would stuck .it can only boot in safe mode,.. Oh and i finally figured it out the sleep problem... the cause is USB 3.0 driver.

DO NOT remove GeForce.kext.

ankh, i got patched appleintelcpupm that working with my ssdt stocks and without null, this is my kextstat,http://pastebin.com/xwXXcH42 , and my dmesg;http://pastebin.com/748qaAQ3 .

i got from http://www.{censored}.com/mountain-lion-desktop-support/60912-patched-appleintelcpupowermanagement-kext-10-8-a-9.html . big credit to him. its still working x8 and x22 on msr dumper and hwmonitor, same with nullcpupm. but at least i dont need null anymore:)

i boot 2-3 times with/without -f or UseKernelCache=No, but finally its working without them.sleep also working hehe.
