Base on Nawcom's work.

This patch can install with DOS MBR partition tables, instead of GUID.

Board-id check and Ram check are also removed.

Working under Mac OS X.

1. Restore BaseSystem.dmg to HFS partition.

2. Copy InstallESD.dmg/mach_kernel to (HFS partition) BaseSystem.dmg/mach_kernel

3. Remove (HFS partition) BaseSystem.dmg/System/Installation/Packages

4. Copy InstallESD.dmg/Packages to (HFS partition) BaseSystem.dmg/System/Installation/Packages

5.

OSInstall.mpkg replace to

/System/Installation/Packages/OSInstall.mpkg

OSInstall replace to

/System/Library/PrivateFrameworks/Install.framework/Frameworks/OSInstall.framework/Versions/A/OSInstall

6. Boot to (HFS partition) BaseSystem.dmg to install Mac OS X.

OSInstall patch method credits to Nawcom.

Will the GUID Partition continue to work? This just adds the option to install from MBR right? I can continue to install on GUID if wanted, correct?

Not try it, but should work with GUID. and GUID needn't to use these two files, the original files are used to install on GUID default.
