It's working pretty well on Asus P5K-E Wifi-AP (Audio chip ADI1988b). The only problem I have is on pref pane, only HDMI is showing. I try r63 version. I have the same problem with earlier versions of VoodooHDA. Other than that, works perfecly well. It has a relative low volumen, but I manually edit Info.plist with mixer values LPDC from 90 to 100 leaving iGain to 0. Sould I increase iGain a little?

Thanks.

I used this

AppleHDA kext

But you may not need them. It's work fine without HDAEnabler.kext.

After

- install VoodooHDA-v2.7.4.r63.pkg

- enable Enable HDMIAudio in org.chameleon.Boot.plist.

- adding VoodooHdaSettingsLoader.app to Login Items.

- setting in system preference -> sound -> output -> speaker(ATAPI)

ALC269 speaker worked.:encouragement:

But it's more working with VoodooHDA and HDMI. I will try that later.:(

Hi guys, how do I enable multiple channels? I have VIA VT1708S 8-channels HDA Codec, everything is working fine except that I only see 1 output (Green Rear), I want is to enable all the I/O's of this codec, and also, when I tried to change the MIDI setup from 192K Hz to 441 Hz 16bit, it always goes back to 192K Hz everytime I restart the system...guys please help, I'm totally giving up about this problem...thank you and more power to hackintosh community :D

Finally - I have sound with Realtek 0269! My mic doesn't appear to be working, but alerts and Flash audio confirmed with Voodoo 2.8. Thank you!

System: Samsung Laptop / Notebook 300E4C-A0US3, i5-3210M, 8GB, 128GB SSD, OS X 10.8.2,

Realtek HDA 0269.

Tried numerous methods with HDEF edits in DSDT and prior versions of Voodoo. Could not get any AppleHDAs to work. No DSDT edits worked, and early version of Voodoo sounded like static, and newer ones caused KPs because of the preference pane & loader. I don't have the loader installed currently (may not need it). Thanks again. Will post update(s) if any significant changes observed.

Still no Wifi if anyone is wondering, but using a ASUS USB-N10 adapter that's tiny, was only $15, works great, and probably not going to sweat the Atheros AR9485 issue anymore now.

I failed to mention in prior post that I have made no edits. It gives me sound for my Realtek 0269 as it. No mic input yet, but that can wait when I have more time (spent days and days on this with no success until this). Thanks again. Making a donation on behalf of crazybirdy.
