Thanks for the kexts. I had to add pci168c,2d and pci168c,2c to AtherosAirPort40.kext info.plist (only one of which I needed, I think) to get it to work, but it did in-fact work! Airdrop too. Excellent....

My card is the Atheros 9227 chipset TP-Link WN851ND. Tested only under 10.7.3. Thanks!

Can not find Device ID in the 10.7.3 kext

I have it installed, and am trying to edit to add device ID

editing plist found at

system/library/extensions/IO80211Family.kext/contents/plugins/airportatheros40.kext/contents/info.plist

Help please :D

The kext works perfect, but only one issue. My signal / noise reading is -97 dBm / -96 dBm. This reading remains the same even when the computer is 2 feet or 20ft from the router. Any ideas? TP-Link TL-WN781ND. Lion 10.7.4

the only one that recognized my card TP-Link WN781ND and enabled Wi-Fi and AirDrop.

tested on Mountain Lion 10.8.

My card is TP-Link WN851ND with Atheros 9227, I have install it on Os X 10.8.1. The card get recognized but after few minutes my system get freezed.

Could someone help me??
