Sleep is already working... and speedstep I will add probably in the near future. For now you can use chameleon strings... The CPU temperature in my case is 35C, for which I think that is totally ok.

OK. Thanks for report. Try the other one, for Intel HD3000... There are some differences in the code for USB part, but not much... If with that other one doesn't work sleep again to you, well than I really don't know what might brake it in your case... Send me then on PM detail description, what you do and how, and what happens when your machine enters sleep.

After a day or so of trying everything under the sun, I've tracked the problem down to my video card. It's a GTX480.

I have yet to find a combination of driver and bootloader that actually works with this thing.

DSDT legacy represent the original code with just a bunch of basic patches applied. This means, RTC, WAK, HPET, IPIC, TIMR, Power Button Fix and additional HDEF for ALC889. Beside the fact that some devices was renamed because of easier editing, there's nothing inside the code what might affect graphics. Sorry...

Then use that one! They are same 99%, so you probably won't notice any differences... Nevertheless, thanks for the report. I?ll check it again and compare it with that other one from the tnoymac website.

I was just wanting to use your dsdt for the fixes in it, hopefully we can figure out what the differences are so I can use it. :) I still appreciate your work and this is a great pack! Was just frustrated about the weirdness with the dsdt.

It's not kext, it is application. 1st part is prefpane which will be located in /Library/PreferencePanes, second is located in /Library/StartupItems/FancontrolDaemon.
