Thanx for the kext, the sleep works but the wake doesn't :(

When i turn on the computer everything starts up, except the OS. Only black screen. When i push the reset button, the C-MOS set to default.

Ideas?

I tried this on my EP45-UD3P without success. When I try wake it will go into a loop of shutting down and powering up.

I have to patch AppleRTC.kext for this.

Type in Terminal:

perl -pi -e 's|\x75\x30\x44\x89\xf8|\xeb\x30\x44\x89\xf8|; s|\x75\x3d\x8b\x75\x08|\xeb\x3d\x8b\x75\x08|' /System/Library/Extensions/AppleRTC.kext/Contents/MacOS/AppleRTC

So it will work without CMOS-Reset.

Or use AppleRTC.kext from Snowleopard...

Not working on my Acer 5740g. Screen goes black, I actually thought the computer restarted, but it never "appeared" to boot back up. Power light was still on, so I had to hold the power till it turned off. O well, hopefully us Acer users get sleep eventually lol.

This works great with my Shuttle SH67H3 on both 10.7.2 and 10.7.3 (no need to mess with anything, just drop it in S/L/E and sleep works!!). Thanks a ton.
