About This File

This is a full P8P67 kexts with bootloader support package. Run the installer sit back, restart the hackintosh and you will get all the problem fixed like sound, lan, graphics most of the ATI and sandy bridge kernel etc.

This is I have tested in 64 bit with 10.6.7 Update. Perfect !! No KP runs like a charm !! Have fun guys if you updated to Sandy bridge with i3, i5 or i7 .

[mod edit]

Andy created a boot cd that should work perfectly for a P8P67 Pro although it may also work for other Sandy Bridge motherboards.

This package says it's for the Asus P8P67 PRO - would you suggest people using the "normal" non-pro version use this as well?

Knowing nothing about this package, expect for what Shantonu said about it, I was hesitant to install it. Well, I decided to go all in. I downloaded this and installed it and it works great. Specifically, it eliminated the sloooooooooow animation of windows/menus/icons opening and closing. It also fixed my "About the Mac" readout, which used to state my i5 2600k as being 1.2 GHz.

I have Bluetooth as well, but from what I can tell, still no audio - though I didn't fully test it as it was almost 2am. I tested the Ethernet by connecting my desktop to my laptop via an ethernet cable, and they saw each other. Now I'm just waiting for my Airport Card and PCI Card to arrive from China!

Ankleshanker, I think you have voodooHda.kext in your S/L/E folder remove that. restart you will have sound. Make sure you select the proper output from the audio settings.

shantonu that package has been copied straight off of the Boot CD that I built specifically for the P8P67Pro as can be found on InsanelyMac and {censored} sites. If you are going to post other peoples work please also credit the orignal source!

Tried it on my 10.6.3 setup, after rebooting it shows the apple logo with the grey spinning wheel then hangs on a black screen. Any ideas?

I've tried the process on my P8P67 Delux with AndyBoot and this package and I get as far as doing the update combo... after the update, I boot with the bootcd and then open the newly updated osx and it just hangs on the apple screen with the little twirly keep-alive... have let it run, but it never actually boots into osx. It does boot and run before the update combo for Lion tho. Not sure what to do at this point.
