Thanks for the work mate.

Tested on my build with amd phenom ii 945, works pretty good, except boot time went up from 16 revs to 35 revs. Oh yah, upside is that amd systems can now run both 32b and 64b apps at the same time.

Does I have to instal it .. my CPU is Intel Pentium Dual Core E2160, now I`m running vanilla .. Will it have some advantages .. ?

It make no sense if you use vanilla that you install an other kernel. ;)

Of course you can use it and can change it without problems but i would use vanilla. ;)

System 10.6.6 + Your's legacy_kernel 10.6.0 works well together in old

intel motherboard D945GNTLKR and pentium D945 processor.

Usb and everything else too works extremely well.

Glad to find 10 6 6 patched karnel but can we use in AMD too.

My spec is

AMD Athlon 4000+ 64 bit dual core

Gigabyte GA-MA770UD3

3GB RAM Kingston 512 *2, CORSAIR 1 GB*2 all 667 MHZ

Weston Digital HDD 160GB SATA ( with XP SP3 )

Seagate HDD 500GB SATA (with SL 10.6.2)

hp dvd1260i (SATA DVDRW)

Palit GeForce 9800 GT 1GB

Working perfectly on AMD Athlon 4000+ but found a glitch on system menu rendering, (I mean the menu becomes completely transparent on its downpart) when starting up on 32-bit mode. Do I need to download a patched system 10.6.6 kext or is ok to use the one coming with the apple update?

Hallo All,,,Can you confirm, AMD user can load 64 bit kernel? or just 64 bit code to run 64 bit Application,,,?Becaouse in My AMD Athlon64 X2 5000+, SL won't load 64 bit kernel. The system restart when i use arch=x86_64. Tried use arch=x86_64 -noscverify -force64 with no success too,,,

Quick Look Crash on m4v fliles, when i use -force64. How Can I solve this problem? AMD Phenom II X6 1090T.

I tried to delete Perian and Flip4Mac, but it's not positive result.
