About This File


1. layout12.zml.zlib, Platforms.zml.zlib copy the Resources folder of the original AppleHDA.kext (AppleHDA.kext / Contents / Resources)

2. AppleHDA.kext copy the folder Extensions (/ System / Library / Extensions)

3. ALC889Rear3.kext if the mat. board behind the three audio jacks or ALC889Rear5.kext if the mat. board behind the 6 audio jacks (should only work 5), copy the folder Extensions (/ System / Library / Extensions)

4. restoring permission Kext Utility

5. Copy the patch binary to the config.plist Clover

6. reboot

After the updates, the sound works as before))))))))))))))


In the folder are Rear3 layout12.zml.zlib and Platforms.zml.zlib for 3 audio jacks at the rear.

In the folder are Rear5 layout12.zml.zlib and Platforms.zml.zlib for 5 audio jacks at the rear.

I have DX58SO Motherboard and running 10.8.3 But my headphone mic is not working. If i will replace this file will it work ? i have done something like before and got nano seconds error and i don't know how to solve that.

Excuse me, but it's out of comprehension what I've to do... "copy" where (from->to)? Moreover, if I copy and paste your patch in my config.plist (in efi partition where clover resides) the computer hangs. Can you explain better, please? Thanks in advance!
