About This File

Kexts updated so it now supports OS X 10.9.1

Buttery smooth performance, no crashes at all during my 7 day test. Gaming should be fine, I've only tested it with League of Legends at max options, resulting in 60FPS.

Use the latest version of Chameleon just in case.

Required settings:

GraphicsEnabler=Yes

ATIConfig=Vervet

Tested on a XFX Radeon HD 677X-ZNLC 850M 1GB GDDR5 though it should work on Gigabyte, MSI and Asus models as well.

Enjoy.

What's New in Version 2.0

Released

  • - Support for Mavericks
  • - Added device ID's to new kexts.
  • - Better performance

No dsdt editing was involved, it's in the kext files.

I'm curious about this too. ?Can you be more specific as to which kext file and what property? ?I've been unable to find it in the kexts. ?I have the same card as yours and my about this mac always display "ATI Radeon HD 5000 1024 MB"

I don't know why does it displays it to you in that way, the three kexts must be loaded (with permission repairs, respectively), and adding the chameleon options listed above should display the graphics card model correctly.

hi guys

?

sorry to dig up this thread ? smile.png

?

just to tell that since Mavericks, we need no more those 3 kexts, only 2 of them (AMD5000Controller.kext and AMDRadeonX3000.kext) to enable QE_CI for HD6770 cards

?

even if you use those 3 kexts, AMD6000Controller.kext will not be loaded

?

to do this with chameleon, use GraphicsEnabler=Yes and edit 0x68B81002 -> 068BA1002 in both kexts

?

if you want to do this with clover, use clover configurator like this:

?

?

don't forget to put 'Inject Kexts' to 'Yes'

?

?

if it does not work, it is because the kexts are not presents in kernel cache.?

?

The most effective trick for now is to inject the details of your kexts inside the FakeSMC?Info.plist as additional IOKitPersonalities. With this trick, your kexts will be always loaded.

?

I did it with QE_CI Exotic patch for HD48xx series cards with my old HD4830 and it works!
