Chameleon used to be the default "go to" for unsupported Mac Pro users. ? Unfortunately OS X 10.10 and Chameleon continue to "not play nicely together" on a real Mac Pro.

?

***EDIT*** and just like that Version 2 arrives on the scene and Chameleon is once again the best friend of the unsupported Mac Pro. ? On behalf of the entire community of Mac Pro owners who have retained their still?highly competent machines though continue to have to navigate around Apple's deliberate roadblocks and imposed obsolescence, I would like to express much thanks and my?sincerest?appreciation for your hard work and success in creating a perfectly working OS X 10.10 compatible Chameleon?version.

Hi, how to fix the "kernel compression is bad" problem? it doesn't boot with UseKernelCache=Yes because of this error

I was able to finally boot using kernel cache by doing this:

open?/usr/standalone/BootCaches.plist ?and change "Izvn" on "Preferred Compression" key to ""Izss"

then go to terminal and type:

sudo -s

hit enter

sudo kextcache -system-prelinked-kernel -all-loaded

then hit enter again

sudo kextcache -v 1 -a i386 -a x86_64 -m /System/Library/Caches/com.apple.kext.caches/Startup/Extensions.mkext -z /System/Library/Extensions/

you're done
